Meet our Difference Engineers

Sophia Bowers is currently a sophomore within Barrett the Honors College pursuing a degree in Political Science as well as a certificate in Cross-Sector Leadership through ASU’s Next Generation Service Corps Program. After graduating with her bachelor’s, she plans to pursue a master’s in public policy as well as a degree in law. Sophia has a passion for community solutions work, research, and advocacy- and has subsequently completed projects related to Arizona policies/initiatives over the years. In the fall of her sophomore year, Sophia served as a Junior Fellow for the School of Politics and Global Studies at ASU. She currently serves as a Legislative Intern for the Arizona Governor’s Office this spring semester. She is thrilled to work as part of the Women’s Power and Influence Index research team and begin her thesis with the Difference Engine next fall!
