BlackRock, a multinational investment company, has been ranked as a LATE BLOOMER on the Women’s Power and Influence Index.
BlackRock’s Women’s Initiative and & Allies Network hosts events that offer professional development opportunities for women as well as events that help create a sense of community and dialogue for senior female leaders. To support the creation of a respectful work environment and prevent harassment/discrimination, BlackRock requires annual completion of compliance training, and each employee is also required to complete training titled “Respect in the Workplace”. BlackRock engages with the fight for gender equity in the community by supporting organizations such as Girls Who Code and Inspiring Girls International.

In 2022, BlackRock and our Financial Inclusion Team network (FIT) partnered with Inspiring Girls (IG) globally to launch the IG Financial Club x BlackRock across eight countries. In Spain, for example, BlackRock’s Global Public Policy Group and FIT network made a case for IG’s membership in the country’s National Financial Education Plan Board (NFEP).
