Research Assistant

Elisa Thomas currently provides strategic oversight and manages the data collection and thesis teams for the Engine. She holds a B.S. in Sociology from Barrett, the Honors College, and is pursuing a Master’s in Global Management at Thunderbird (specializing in nonprofit management and global business). She possesses experience in diverse sectors, including government policy, education-focused initiatives, and nonprofit organizations. Elisa has contributed to The Difference Engine for nearly three years, demonstrating her commitment to promoting Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives within the business sector. Her undergraduate honors thesis played a pivotal role in setting the framework for the Women’s Power and Influence Index.
