Meet our Difference Engineers

Sahar Khan is the Deputy Director of Strategic Initiatives at The Difference Engine supporting the Executive Director in managing the day-to-day management of the Engine.

She comes to Arizona State University with a strong background in non-profit and community organizing and had most recently spent some time in the tech space working for Airbnb. She’s worked for various domestic organizations in NYC across the policy, global education, public education space with an expertise in strategy, research, and data management. She co-founded a global education organization in 2017 to support grassroots education equity organizations globally.

She holds a B.A. in Economics and Human Rights from CUNY Hunter College in New York City.
