Sarayu Goorisetti is an honors student pursuing a double major in Economics and Business Data Analytics at ASU’s W.P Carey School of Business with plans to graduate in May of 2026. She is a Barrett Honors student who joined the Difference Engine Team as part of a two-year research project that would also culminate in a thesis.
Sarayu participated in the Arizona State-Wide Business Case Competition in February 2024. This experience led her to join the Case Devils team at ASU through which she will build her public speaking, presentation, and strategic thinking skills.
Sarayu has a strong connection to community engagement and leadership. During the fall semester of 2023, she served as a WPC 101 Facilitator, teaching an introductory business course to a class of incoming freshman students at the W.P. Carey School of Business. In the fall semester of 2024, she is set to return as a WPC 101 Team Lead where she will not only facilitate the course but also support new WPC 101 facilitators. Over the summer of 2024, she was involved as a Fleischer Scholar Mentor as part of the Fleischer program helping high school students develop the skills and resources they need to succeed through the program’s adaptive learning model.
Sarayu is excited to be a part of the WPI team, where she looks forward to combining her efforts with those of a talented group to create impactful outcomes and inspire change.
