Meet our Difference Engineers

Shriya Pratinidhi is a full-time undergraduate honors student at Arizona State University, double majoring in Business Data Analytics and Computer Information Systems at the W. P. Carey School of Business. She is on track to graduate in May 2026.

Shriya joined The Difference Engine as part of a two-year program, where she conducts research and will later complete her thesis project for Barrett, The Honors College. Her work on the Women’s Power and Influence Index project is driven by her dedication to increasing the representation of women in STEM within the corporate world, empowering more women to pursue their passions confidently.

In addition to her work with The Difference Engine, Shriya is a Writing Mentor at the Writers’ Studio within the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. As a Writing Mentor, she provides peer support and comprehensive guidance to students in ENG 102, assisting with course-related inquiries and assignments.

During her time at Arizona State University, Shriya has held several leadership positions. In the 2023-2024 academic year, she served as a Residential Engagement Leader, hosting events for first-year students to promote college connections, academic success, and professional development. She also facilitated a section of the WPC 101 course, guiding a group of first-year students on how to leverage business school resources for success. In addition, she served as a Fleischer Mentor, assisting high school students with their team-based business projects. In the 2024-2025 academic year, Shriya will take on even greater leadership responsibilities as a Senior Residential Engagement Leader, WPC 101 Course Facilitator Team Lead, Barrett Peer Academic Leader, and Barrett Peer Mentor.
